Huntd Recruitment is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager in Canberra to oversee the operation and maintenance of commercial properties. You will ensure safety, compliance, and tenant satisfaction while leading a small team and coordinating with vendors.

The role focuses on day-to-day building systems management, budgets, and continuous improvement of facilities services in a fast-paced environment. On-site coordination and after-hours availability are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum proven experience in commercial facilities management.
• Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations.
• Flexibility for after-hours/on-call work.

Aufgaben

• Manage the day-to-day operations of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and security.
• Coordinate routine maintenance and emergency repairs to ensure minimal disruption.
• Oversee vendor management and service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Develop and oversee maintenance budgets and reporting.
• Manage fit out processes.
• Provide some direction to a team of support staff.
