Job summary

Assetlink is seeking a professional, organised and customer focused Facilities Manager to lead operations for a major ACT client at Canberra Centre. You will oversee cleaning, security, maintenance and customer service teams, delivering exceptional service and achieving contractual KPI targets.

The role requires strong leadership, client relationship management, and financial acumen, with a focus on safety and CALD awareness.

Qualifications

• Passion and commitment to deliver customer service to the highest standard.
• Experience in managing a team, performance management and employee relations experience.
• Ability to give direction as well as being able to motivate your team.
• Demonstrated client relationship management experience.
• Strong influencing skills and the capacity to deal with issues proactively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to lead in a CALD environment.
• Facilities management experience in a retail/commercial setting.
• Strong financial/business acumen and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Become a trusted partner and SME for the Client.
• Oversee management of operations in cleaning, security, customer service, and maintenance for our site.
• Meet contractual obligations and delight customers by exceeding expectations.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Participate in regular meetings with Client and Stakeholders to report on KPI performance and issues.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and inspiration to teams to deliver Assetlink Way.
• Identify opportunities to provide innovation and value-add for the client.
• Oversee all financials and budget and control the P&L.
• Identify problem areas and develop/implement strategies to address them.
• Undertake staff training and ensure OHS compliance.
