Job summary

Knight Frank Australia is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation, presentation and maintenance of commercial properties across Canberra. This hands-on, site-based role requires coordinating contractors, inspections and compliance while supporting administration and tenant relations.

You will manage multiple buildings, ensure timely maintenance, and build strong relationships with tenants, clients and service partners in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in commercial facilities operations.
• Experience with administration and compliance tasks, such as contractor documentation, invoicing and reporting.
• Qualifications in Facilities Management, Building Services, or related field are beneficial, or equivalent practical experience.
• Good communicator who enjoys working with tenants, clients and service partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day facilities management of commercial buildings.
• Coordinate contractors and maintenance works (planned and reactive) and follow jobs through to completion.
• Carry out regular site inspections to identify issues and take action to resolve maintenance, presentation and compliance concerns.
• Manage contractor compliance, including licences, insurances, permits and site documentation.
• Support facilities administration, including purchase orders, invoicing, record keeping and reporting.
• Work across multiple sites and support Property Managers as required, while building relationships with clients, tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
