Job summary

ISS Facility Management Pty Ltd seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to lead on-site delivery at the Wahgunyah, VIC site. You will manage integrated facilities services, coordinate contractors, and ensure safe, compliant operations while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Key Account Manager, you will oversee budgets, KPI attainment, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to deliver exceptional service outcomes for a globally recognised client.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Facilities Management services in a complex operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of technical and hard services, including building systems.
• Proven leadership experience with motivating and developing teams.
• Experience managing contractors and facilities supply chains.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship skills.
• Project management experience delivering operational improvements.
• Sound knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate delivery of all Facilities Management services within the contracted scope.
• Oversee building infrastructure, utilities, workplace facilities, grounds, cleaning and waste management.
• Manage service contracts including cleaning, security, catering, pest control, fire systems, HVAC and more.
• Lead facilities and minor projects from planning through completion.
• Own site budgets, forecasting and reporting.
• Direct and develop ISS employees and service providers to meet KPIs.
• Build strong client relationships via proactive service delivery.
• Present regular operational and performance reports to client and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, environmental, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and best-practice facilities processes.

Job Title: Facilities ManagerLocation: Wahgunyah, VIC
Employment Type: Full-time

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facility Manager to join our team at the Wahgunyah site on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and management of Integrated Facilities Management services, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations across the site.

As the on-site lead, you will work closely with the client, contractors, service partners and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service outcomes while driving continuous improvement, operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

A snapshot of what you will do:

• Manage and coordinate the delivery of all Facilities Management services within the contracted scope.
• Oversee building infrastructure, utilities, workplace facilities, grounds, cleaning, waste management and other soft services.
• Manage service contracts including cleaning, security, catering, pest control, fire systems, HVAC, grounds maintenance, uniforms and other site services.
• Lead facilities and minor project activities from planning through to completion.
• Take overall responsibility for site budgets, financial performance, forecasting and reporting.
• Direct, manage and develop ISS employees and service providers to achieve contractual KPIs and service standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement and service delivery excellence.
• Develop and present regular operational and performance reports to the client and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all legislative, environmental, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage contractor performance and service provider compliance to maximise value and service outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement industry best-practice facilities management processes.
• Support site business planning, objective setting and operational strategy execution.

What will you possess to be successful?

• Experience in Facilities Management or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience managing Facilities Management services in a complex operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of technical and hard services, including building systems and maintenance operations.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience managing contractors, service providers and facilities supply chains.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and account management.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills.
• Project management experience with a track record of successfully delivering operational improvements.
• Sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety and environmental compliance requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, organisational and report-writing capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing business environment.

Desirable experience:

• FM experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• NABERS qualifications or relevant sustainability experience.
• Strong understanding of integrated facilities services and asset management principles.
