Metcash is Australia’s leading wholesale distribution company, seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join the State Logistics team in Adelaide. You’ll oversee facilities across a complex distribution centre, ensuring safety, compliance and operational efficiency.

Reporting to the State Logistics Manager, you’ll partner with landlords, contractors and national stakeholders to implement maintenance, asset management and cost improvement strategies that support business performance.

Qualificações

• Facilities management experience within logistics, FMCG, industrial, or distribution centre environments.
• Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, WHS, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience managing contractors, maintenance programs, and site services.
• Highly analytical with strong financial and project management capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all facilities maintenance, repairs, and asset management activities.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance and capital replacement programs.
• Manage contractor performance and key service provider relationships.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, WHS, environmental, and legislative requirements.

About the Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our State Logistics team.

Reporting to the State Logistics Manager, you'll lead facilities management across a complex distribution centre environment, ensuring our sites remain safe, compliant, and operationally efficient. You'll work closely with operational leaders, landlords, contractors, and national stakeholders to deliver effective maintenance, compliance, and asset management strategies that support business performance

In This Role

• Lead all facilities maintenance, repairs, and asset management activities
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance and capital replacement programs
• Manage contractor performance and key service provider relationships
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, WHS, environmental, and legislative requirements

You're Likely a Match If

• You have Facilities Management experience within logistics, FMCG, industrial, or distribution centre environments.
• You possess a strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, WHS, and compliance requirements
