CBRE Group, Inc. in Sydney is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold and repair small to mid-size buildings and industrial systems.

You will provide preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and support equipment installations as part of the Engineering and Technical Services team. The role requires a trade- or high-school diploma, physical fitness for lifting up to 50 lbs, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and repair as needed.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Communicate clearly when exchanging straightforward information.
• Follow defined procedures to deliver own output under supervision.
