Job summary

City of Perth is seeking a Maintenance Support Officer to coordinate maintenance across iconic City properties including Council House and Perth Town Hall. You will work within the Facilities Management team, delivering timely planned and reactive maintenance in a CBD location.

You will support contractors, manage quotations and records, and provide customer-focused service while adhering to safety and Council policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance or related environment.
• Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders while delivering customer service.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration across teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using computerised systems and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety responsibilities and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service requests and work orders to support timely maintenance delivery.
• Support management of contractors and contracts, monitor performance and assist with variations.
• Conduct quotation and tender activities, prepare requisitions and verify quotes/payments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, databases, permits and access systems.
• Monitor expenditure and prepare reports and operational documentation.
• Provide responsive, knowledgeable, customer-focused support to City employees, contractors and the public.
