Job summary

DFP Recruitment is seeking a Facilities Officer for a part-time temporary contract based in the Perth CBD. The role offers 20 hours per week, with morning hours across Mon-Fri and an immediate start.

You will act as on-site liaison for the Property team, handling routine maintenance, queries, and front-of-house support. The ideal candidate has facilities, property or admin experience, strong organisational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, property, housing management, or administrative support is highly regarded.
• Comfortable working independently and as on-site contact.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn other systems quickly.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site liaison for the Property team, overseeing contractor attendance for maintenance, cleaning, and building services.
• Coordinate and respond to facility-related queries, providing prompt first-level support.
• Provide front-of-house customer service to staff, contractors, and site visitors, face-to-face and via phone.
• Raise and track work orders, ensuring issues are resolved timely.
• Monitor building security, manage access protocols, and uphold site safety.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation of facilities activity.
