Job summary

Barramayil Primary School in Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Facilities, Grounds and Student Support Officer to maintain our new campus facilities and outdoor spaces. You will support safety, cleaning and student supervision while assisting with daily operations in a growing school community.

The role requires flexibility, collaboration and initiative as enrolments grow, with experience in facilities, grounds or administration valued in a school context.

Qualifications

• Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
• Current Victorian Driver Licence
• Ability to undertake the physical requirements of the role
• Commitment to Victorian Child Safe Standards and Department of Education policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Maintain school grounds, facilities and learning spaces to a high standard.
• Assist with cleaning, waste management and safety compliance across the site.
• Support student supervision and wellbeing during learning and break times.
• Coordinate with contractors and manage maintenance programs.
• Support administration and operational tasks to keep school running smoothly.
• Assist with events and community activities hosted at the school.
