Job summary

Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia is seeking a hands-on leader to oversee the maintenance, compliance, security and operational performance of our Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre facilities, fleet, plant and equipment in the Daintree region.

You will manage contractors, schedules, procurement and preventative maintenance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Lead Cleaning, Grounds and Shuttle Bus teams, drive audits and asset-management improvements across the operation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leader with facilities, fleet, plant and equipment management experience.
• Strong compliance and safety knowledge.
• Budgeting and reporting experience.
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Current Blue Card (Working with Children).

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, servicing and compliance of facility infrastructure, fleet vehicles, plant and equipment.
• Manage contractors, maintenance schedules, procurement activities, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with transport, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead Cleaning, Grounds and Shuttle Bus teams including rostering and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement through audits, procedures, and asset management initiatives.
