Job summary

Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Leader to oversee facilities, fleet, plant and equipment, ensuring safety, compliance and high operational performance. You will manage contractors, schedules and asset management, while leading Cleaning, Grounds and Shuttle Bus teams.

The role requires strong budgeting skills, compliance knowledge and relevant licences, with opportunities for career growth within the Mossman Gorge precinct.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, fleet or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and safety requirements.
• Budgeting and reporting experience required.
• MR Open Driver Licence and Driver Authorisation required.
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification required.
• Current Blue Card (Working with Children) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, servicing and compliance of facility infrastructure, fleet, plant and equipment.
• Manage contractors, maintenance schedules, procurement activities, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with transport, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead Cleaning, Grounds and Shuttle Bus teams including rostering and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement through audits, procedures, and asset management initiatives.

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive leader to oversee the maintenance, compliance, security and operational performance of our facilities, vehicle fleet, plant and equipment.
