Job summary

University of Technology Sydney is seeking a Senior Central Services Officer to lead day-to-day delivery of Central Services across the campus. The role combines team leadership with hands-on operational delivery, strategic planning and continuous improvement to ensure safe, well-presented and compliant spaces.

You will coordinate staff, contractors and services for events, relocations, cleaning, hygiene, grounds and health and safety, while driving efficiency and a customer-focused campus

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and develop a small operational team with effective prioritisation.
• Experience coordinating event setups and office relocations with safety and quality in mind.
• Knowledge of procurement, budgets and service performance in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Central Services team to deliver safe, high-quality services aligned with university priorities.
• Plan and supervise daily work programs for ~2 direct reports and monitor performance.
• Coordinate staff and contractors; manage safety, quality, time and service outcomes.
• Oversee classroom, event and relocation setups and conduct regular inspections of spaces.
