Job summary

ActivateUTS, based at the UTS City Campus in Sydney, seeks a Facilities & Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of venues and facilities. You will manage leases, maintenance plans, budgets, and capital works, while coordinating with UTS Facilities, Security, and Projects teams.

This critical role requires strong contractor management and WHS compliance. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead a small team, drive cost-efficient maintenance, and ensure timely action on

Qualifications

• 5+ years' proven experience in facilities, maintenance or property services management.
• Formal qualifications in a building-related discipline and/or property or facilities management.
• Solid technical understanding of plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems and related maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage lease agreements and coordinate with UTS stakeholders on adjustments or new terms.
• Develop and manage annual maintenance plans and capital works budgets.
• Lead and supervise the Handyman / Facilities & Property Assistant and coordinate with vendors.
• Negotiate contracts for property services and monitor service level agreements.
• Maintain maintenance activity logs and produce monthly reports on progress and outcomes.
