Job summary

University of Technology Sydney seeks a Fabrication Workshop Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the Faculty's Fabrication Workshop, Digital MakerSpace and Soft Model Workshop, guiding technical staff and supporting academic teaching and research with safe fabrication practices.

About the Role

The Fabrication Workshop Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Faculty's Fabrication Workshop, Digital MakerSpace and Soft Model Workshop. The successful candidate will also lead a team of technical staff who provide support, advice and instruction to academic staff and students to maximise related teaching and learning programs and academic research projects with appropriate safe use of workshop equipment. They oversee the development, scheduling and management of workshop activities to support faculty priorities. They provide one-on-one and group instruction. Base Salary Range: $111,740 to $123,611 per annum (HEW 7)

This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.

This position is full time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis. The successful candidate will be expected to work full time onsite at the UTS Broadway Sydney campus.
