About the Team The Faculty of Science’s organizational structure consists of two schools, two research institutes, professional services, and Technical Services. Technical Services provides technical expertise and support for the teaching and research endeavors of the faculty. It is comprised of a scientific discipline-based team that is responsible for running undergraduate practical classes, as well as providing technical support and subject matter expertise to research academics and students. The position plays a key role in providing the day-to-day coordination of systems, governance and facilities to ensure the smooth operations of the laboratories and provide centralized maintenance and centralized professional support for Technical Services.
Detailed Description About the Role The Technical Systems and Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the operation of core laboratory information management systems and governance requirements and faculty wide infrastructure projects for the Faculty of Science. As part of the Technical Operations and Infrastructure Team, Technical Services, the incumbent will work closely with all members of the faculty to deliver standardised operation of systems, governance and facilities within Technical Services, improving efficiency, compliance and user experience. Remuneration/Salary Remuneration & Benefits Base Salary Range: $105,814 to $117,057 pa (HEW 7)
This position is full-time, and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
