Job summary

AC Hotels by Marriott Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the pre-opening team. Lead and support our outlets across breakfast, dinner, banquets and pool, delivering warm, professional service on the floor.

You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, coordinate shifts, and ensure high standards of presentation and service to create memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Food & Beverage or a similar hospitality environment.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience in restaurant, banquet, bar, pool or high-volume service environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Food & Beverage associates.
• Coordinate opening, closing and daily operational duties.
• Ensure the team is prepared, well presented and working together to deliver exceptional service.
• Monitor guest flow, table availability and service standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond confidently to feedback or service challenges.
• Support stock control, requisitions, inventories and FIFO procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and food safety.
• Assist leaders with training, coaching, rostering and performance conversations.
• Help create an engaging and positive team environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve service, productivity and the guest experience.
