Job summary

EVT Group's Rydges Australia Square in Sydney is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations across restaurant, bar, room service and events, ensuring guests receive consistently excellent service and the team runs safely and profitably.

You will supervise rostered shifts, coach casual and permanent staff, and step onto the floor during peak service to maintain high standards and a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and guest service orientation.
• Attention to detail in fast-paced hospitality settings.
• Experience coaching and developing service teams.
• Ability to adapt to changing guest needs and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the hotel's F&B outlets (restaurant, bar, room service, events).
• Supervise rostered shifts and coach casual and permanent staff.
• Step in on the floor during service to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction.
• Promote the venue and brand while maintaining product knowledge and service standards.
• Foster a positive team culture and ensure safe, efficient and profitable operations.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Support training and development initiatives for staff.
