Job summary

Hotel Woolstore 1888 – Handwritten Collection in Sydney is seeking a Full-Time Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to actively lead the PERCY tapas and wine bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and service standards. You’ll work closely with management and front-of-house teams, taking on a hands-on leadership role on the floor and during dinner service.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage supervisory or leadership experience.
• Good knowledge of hotel operations and how departments work together.
• Strong front-of-house and bar service skills, with confidence during busy dinner service.
• Genuine passion for delivering exceptional food, beverage and guest experiences.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Current RSA certificate.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food and beverage operations and ensure consistently high service standards.
• Lead, support and motivate the team to deliver warm and memorable guest experiences.
• Take an active role during dinner service with strong front-of-house and bar skills.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with team training, onboarding, rostering and other operational requirements.
• Work collaboratively across hotel departments and support different areas of the operation when required.
• Manage guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
