Oaks Port Douglas Resort is seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the restaurant and events operations, ensuring high-quality service across dinner, conferences, weddings and special events. You will manage a high-performing team, mentor staff, oversee rostering and stock, and uphold RSA and food safety standards while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Food & Beverage Supervisor or similar leadership role in a hospitality setting.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop hospitality teams.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service, conferences, functions, weddings and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the F&B team to deliver professional, efficient service across restaurant and event operations.
• Supervise daily dinner service and assist in conferences, functions, weddings and special events.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences through active engagement and service standards.
• Train, mentor and develop team members, including onboarding and coaching.
• Maintain brand standards and consistent service across F&B operations.
• Support rostering, labour management, and workflow planning to optimise efficiency.
• Monitor stock levels and assist inventory control to minimise wastage.
• Ensure RSA, food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with management to drive operational improvements and business objectives.
