Job summary

Oaks Port Douglas Resort is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the dining and events team in Port Douglas. This full-time role covers dinner service, conferences, weddings and special events, with a hands-on leadership style to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The successful candidate will train and develop staff, maintain brand standards, and manage rostering and labour during peak periods while ensuring RSA compliance and high service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing hospitality teams.
• Strong guest service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Food & Beverage team to deliver high-quality service across restaurant and events.
• Supervise dinner service and assist with conferences, functions, weddings, and special events.
• Train, mentor and develop team members, including onboarding and coaching on service techniques.
• Maintain brand standards and ensure consistent service delivery across F&B operations.
• Assist with rostering, labour management and shift coordination to optimise efficiency.
