Job summary

Crystalbrook Byron is a 5-star resort nestled in Byron Bay, offering a sustainable luxury experience. We are seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor in Conference & Events to work with a passionate hotel team, reporting to the Restaurant Manager.

You will assist in leading the team and creating a conference experience that keeps our guests returning. This role also involves supervising in our Forest restaurant when conferencing isn’t required.

Qualifications

• Considerable experience in premium restaurant environments.
• Previous restaurant, conference or bar supervisory experience.
• Passion for hospitality and high-quality service.
• Great attention to detail and anticipate guest needs.
• In-depth knowledge of sequence of service and product knowledge.
• Willing to take on ad-hoc duties as required.
• Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment with high standards.
• Friendly and confident communication skills.
• NSW RSA essential.
• Available across weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Able to commit for a minimum of 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Create outstanding employment experiences for the Food and Beverage team.
• Provide a warm and genuine conference and service experience.
• Anticipate and respond to tricky requests with professional and timely coaching of the team.
• Coach and train Food & Drink guides on the job.
