Job summary

Crystalbrook Byron is seeking a capable Food & Beverage Supervisor for Conference & Events. You will lead a passionate hotel team, co-ordinate conference experiences, and ensure delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

The role also involves supervision in the Forest restaurant when conferencing isn’t required. You will manage premium service, coach staff, and respond to guest requests with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Premium restaurant/hospitality experience in a premium environment.
• Experience supervising conference, events or bar teams.
• Strong service standards and passion for hospitality.
• Excellent attention to detail and guest care.
• Knowledge of sequence of service and product knowledge.
• Willingness to work across weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• NSW RSA certification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in conference and events service.
• Provide warm, genuine guest interactions ensuring a high level of service.
• Coach and develop Food & Beverage guides on the floor.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to deliver exceptional events.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks while maintaining high standards of service.

Role Purpose

We are seeking a new Food & Beverage Supervisor in Conference & Events to work alongside a passionate and supportive hotel team, reporting to the Restaurant Manager your passion is food, and you know your way around a drinks menu. You will assist in leading the team and creating a conference experience that keeps our guest wanting more. This role also requires work in our Forest restaurant as a supervisor when conferencing is not required.

You Will Collaborate With Our Guests By

• Creating an outstanding employment experience for the Food and Beverage Collaborators
• Providing a warm and genuine conference and service experience
• Anticipating and responding to tricky requests & concerns in a professional and timely manner and coaching your team to do the same.
• Taking an active interest in providing on-the-job coaching and training to the Food & Drink guides.

Skills and experience:

We are looking for a skilled and ambitious restaurant supervisor who can display:

• Considerable experience in premium restaurant environments.
• Previous restaurant, conference or bar supervisory experience
• Demonstrated passion for the hospitality industry and speciality in high quality service.
• Great attention to detail, being one step ahead of guests needs.
• In-depth knowledge of sequence of service and product knowledge.
• The passion to take on other ad-hoc duties as required
• Ability to prioritise & work in fast-paced environment being able to keep high standards of service.
• Friendly and confident communication skills.
• NSW RSA essential
• Available across various shifts including weekends, evenings and public holidays
• Able to commit for a minimum of 6 months
