Job summary

Rydges Parramatta, part of EVT Limited, seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead daily restaurant and bar operations, coach staff, and manage rosters and budgets for an exceptional guest experience.

You will drive service excellence within EVT's hospitality network, uphold WHS standards, and collaborate across departments to continually improve guest satisfaction in a dynamic hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Experience directing a food and beverage team and coaching team members to lift performance.
• Confident in managing rosters, forecasts, budgets and COGS.
• Working knowledge of WHS, first aid, fire and emergency procedures.
• A guest-first approach, with the ability to use feedback to improve service.
• Strong communication skills for working with guests, vendors and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day food and beverage activities, planning and assigning work across the restaurant and bar team.
• Coach, mentor and give regular feedback to team members, and train them in brand standards, service behaviours and regulations.
• Manage outlet rosters and staffing levels in line with guest volume, forecast and budget.
• Lead a seamless guest experience, and act on guest satisfaction surveys to improve service.
• Monitor budget, COGS and weekly ordering, upselling products and services while minimising waste.
• Champion WHS, guest security and privacy, and log incidents and hazards in line with hotel requirements.
