Job summary

Rydges Parramatta is seeking a hands-on Food and Beverage Duty Manager to lead day-to-day operations across the restaurant and bar, ensuring seamless guest experiences and adherence to brand standards.

You will coach and mentor the team, manage rosters, forecasts and budgets, monitor costs and quality, and respond to guest feedback to lift service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience directing a food and beverage team and coaching team members to lift performance.
• Confidence managing rosters, forecasts, budgets and COGS.
• Working knowledge of WHS, first aid, fire and emergency procedures.
• A guest-first approach, with the ability to use feedback to improve service.
• Strong communication skills for working with guests, vendors and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day food and beverage activities, planning and assigning work across the restaurant and bar team
• Coach, mentor and give regular feedback to team members, and train them in brand standards, service behaviours and regulations
• Manage outlet rosters and staffing levels in line with guest volume, forecast and budget
• Lead a seamless guest experience, and act on guest satisfaction surveys to improve service
• Monitor budget, COGS and weekly ordering, upselling products and services while minimising waste
• Champion WHS, guest security and privacy, and log incidents and hazards in line with hotel requirements
