Job summary

InterContinental Perth City Centre is seeking a part-time Food & Beverage Attendant to join our Restaurant & Bar team and help us create dining experiences that exceed our guests' expectations.

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will work across restaurant, bar, conference & events, and room service; serve food and drinks to high standards, highlight promotions, and maximise up-selling opportunities. You will ensure proper storage, support colleagues, and maintain a clean, welcoming outlet.

Qualifications

• Over 1 years proven experience in working in a busy and modern restaurant or bar.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact with guests & colleagues.
• Be a skilled multi-tasker.
• Eye for detail and an enthusiastic, approachable person who takes ownership and delivers a unique guest experience.
• Be able to work well in a team environment and support the wider team.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Flexible with availability – early mornings, evenings/nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Working across multiple food and beverage operations – restaurant and bars, conference & events, and room service.
• Preparing and serving food and drinks to high standards, while highlighting promotions to guests and maximising up-selling opportunities.
• Ensuring proper storage of food and beverage products & equipment, replenishing supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimising waste.
• Working with and supporting colleagues to deliver seamless service to guests.
• Maintaining outlet cleanliness and tidiness, clearing glasses and items professionally.
