Job summary

Milestone Support Services is seeking Experienced Male Support Workers with backgrounds in security, corrections, or mental health to support psychosocial disability and forensic participants. Roles include working in accommodation settings and community, managing complex behaviours, and maintaining safety.

Successful candidates will have NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check, First Aid/CPR, a valid driver’s licence, and strong communication. Weekend and night availability is required.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• National Police Check is required.
• First Aid & CPR certification required.
• Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with forensic and complex behavioural backgrounds.
• Use de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations.
• Assist with daily living and community participation.
• Support emotional regulation and behavioural goals.
• Transport participants to appointments and activities.
• Complete incident reports and case notes.
• Collaborate with allied health teams and coordinators.
• Maintain safety for participants, staff, and community.
