Job summary

Pegasus Community Care in Parramatta region is seeking experienced NDIS Support Workers to provide intensive 2:1 support in a highly complex environment. You will work with a participant with significant behavioural, psychosocial and personal care needs, including overnight shifts within a 24/7 model.

You will join a structured team led by a Shift Mentor, implementing Behaviour Support Plans and risk management, while delivering high-quality supports with calm, trauma-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or related field.
• Demonstrated experience supporting NDIS participants with complex needs.
• Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans and Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work active overnight shifts.
• Experience within SIL, SDA, mental health, forensic or high-intensity support environments.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred practice.

This role involves supporting a participant with complex support needs in a highly specialised environment. Successful applicants must be comfortable:

• Managing behaviours of concern using therapeutic and person-centred approaches
• Providing personal care and support with activities of daily living
• Following strict infection control measures and PPE requirements
• Working collaboratively within a structured 2:1 support model
