Key Responsibilities

• Apply a comprehensive understanding of the Building Act 1993, Building Regulations 2018, NCC/BCA 2022, relevant Australian Standards, and associated legislation.
• Conduct assessments, review applications, and prepare high‑quality RFIs, reports, letters, permits, and professional correspondence.
• Lodge statutory forms including S80, S73, S30, and assemble permit documentation and amendments.
• Utilize statutory/permit software and maintain strong general computer literacy.
• Establish files, manage data entry, and ensure accurate documentation throughout the permit lifecycle.
• Liaise proactively with councils, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, meet deadlines reliably, and make sound independent decisions when required.
• Display leadership qualities and act as a trusted advisor to clients and team members.
