Job description

At St Bart's, we're looking for an Executive Support Officer to support our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Operational Leadership Team. You'll be the glue that keeps things together, the calm in the chaos, and the person who somehow always knows where that document is, who needs to be where, and what needs to happen next.

This isn't your traditional Executive Support role where you're tucked away managing one diary all day. You'll work closely with our COO and operational leaders, helping coordinate meetings, projects, events, communications, and the countless moving parts that come with supporting a busy leadership team.

You'll report to our Company & CEO Secretariat but spend much of your time partnering with leaders across the organisation to help them stay focused on what matters most.

What does a typical day look like?
  • Supporting the COO and Operational Leadership Team with all things administration, coordination, and organisation.
  • Managing committee meetings, travel arrangements, and competing priorities.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, meeting packs, and communications.
  • Coordinating workshops, events, leadership forums, and team activities.
  • Following up on actions and helping projects stay on track.
  • Stepping in to provide reception coverage during lunch breaks, leave periods, and those times when an extra pair of hands is needed.
We're looking for someone who brings:
  • Experience supporting a senior leader in a similar role, ideally within a busy operational environment
  • Energy in spades, initiative and a "how can I help?" mindset to your work.
  • Strong relationship building skills and the confidence to work effectively with people at all levels
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle competing priorities with ease
  • An understanding of the importance of supporting people experiencing disadvantage and genuine alignment with the values that underpin St Bart's work.
  • Qualifications in Business Administration or a related field (great, but not essential).
What's in it for you?
  • Pay: Competitive salary, plus NFP salary packaging giving you the potential to gain $18,5500 in tax benefits
  • Leave: 23 days annual leave, that's 3 days more thanthe standard 4 weeks
  • Perks: Lots of social activities, expand your experience by joining a consultation committee, see the impact of our work firsthand
  • Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Career development: Training, accessible leaders, growth and advancement opportunities
  • Culture: Exceptional workplace culture - we work hard and have fun while we do it
