St Bart’s in Perth is expanding its residential aged care services and seeks a commercial, proactive leader to oversee operations and ensure delivery of high-quality care. The role reports to the COO and will play a lead role in commissioning a new aged care home.

You will develop the Model of Care, refine existing operations, and inspire and develop others while bringing a nursing or health qualification as a foundation for leadership.

Established in 1963, St Bart’s is one of Perth’s leading not-for-profit providers of accommodation and outreach services for vulnerable Western Australians experiencing, or at risk of homelessness, mental health challenges, trauma and hardship. St Bart’s has annual revenues circa $29 million and over 200 employees.

St Bart’s is embarking on a significant project to expand its reach, capacity and community impact by constructing a new aged care residential facility in East Perth.

About this Role

Reporting to the COO, this newly created role is responsible for assisting with the oversight of St Bart’s aged care services, specifically focused on its residential care services.

There will be a focus on refining current operations, as well as playing a lead role in supporting the commissioning of the new St Bart’s aged care home.

We seek a proactive, commercially astute leader with substantial aged care experience for this key position.

You will thrive on this opportunity to develop the Model of Care for St Bart’s residential aged care services and have the experience necessary to establish and ensure the delivery of high-quality integrated aged care services.

Importantly, you will also have a proven track record for inspiring, guiding and developing others.

Ideally, you will have tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Health.
