Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Executive Manager Corporate Services to join their Executive Leadership Team. This is a key leadership opportunity for an accomplished corporate services professional to support a complex organisation through a significant period of change, transformation and future planning.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will provide strategic leadership across finance, information technology, procurement, customer and administrative services, and asset management. You will also work closely with senior stakeholders and governing bodies, providing clear and considered advice while supporting the organisation's long-term financial and operational sustainability.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing strategic leadership across key corporate service functions
- Advising the CEO and senior stakeholders on financial, corporate and business matters
- Leading long-term financial planning and supporting organisational sustainability
- Overseeing financial reporting, budgets and statutory compliance
- Providing high-level financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Providing financial oversight of significant long-term commercial and service arrangements
- Supporting the development and continuous improvement of business systems
- Ensuring corporate services are appropriately resourced and operating effectively
- Setting performance measures and driving accountability across the business unit
- Leading and supporting the organisation through ongoing change and transition
What you’ll need:
- Significant senior management or executive leadership experience
- Strong experience leading organisational strategy and business improvement
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Experience with complex long-term financial planning, including significant provisions and long-lived assets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to clearly and impartially present complex financial and commercial matters to senior stakeholders
- Strong understanding of governance, risk and compliance
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through periods of change
- Professional accounting qualification with CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Institute of Public Accountants, CIMA, or an equivalent recognised overseas accounting body
- Local government or broader public sector experience will be highly regarded
- Full working rights in Australia
- Willingness to provide a National Police Clearance
