Job summary

Ese Consulting is seeking an Executive Manager Corporate Services to join the Executive Leadership Team. You will lead finance, governance, risk, people and culture, IT, WHS and organisational performance to support strategic objectives.

You will provide high-level advice to the CEO and Board, shape governance frameworks, drive organisational change and develop a multidisciplinary corporate services team aligned with the company values of Care, Courage and Connection.

Qualifications

• Proven executive leadership in a complex organisation.
• Strong budgeting, financial reporting and planning expertise.
• Experience leading governance, risk, compliance frameworks.
• Ability to advise CEOs, Boards and executive teams at high level.
• Track record of organisational improvement and change management.
• Experience overseeing finance, HR, IT, WHS and governance functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation's finance function including budgeting, reporting and long-term sustainability.
• Provide strategic governance, risk, compliance and organisational performance advice to the CEO and Board.
• Oversee governance frameworks, policies and decision-making processes.
• Manage People and Culture: workforce planning, wellbeing and leadership development.
• Drive continuous improvement and organisational change to boost effectiveness.
• Provide executive IT governance, cyber security, information management and continuity oversight.
• Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory obligations across corporate services.
• Oversee enterprise risk management, internal controls and audits.
• Support the Board with governance reporting and secretariat functions.
• Develop partnerships with government, funding bodies and community stakeholders.

Are you a strategic corporate services leader looking for an opportunity to influence organisational performance, culture and long-term success?

Our client is seeking an experienced Executive Manager Corporate Services to join its Executive Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide leadership across finance, governance, risk, people and culture, information technology, workplace health and safety, and organisational performance.

About the Role

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will provide strategic leadership and direction across our client’s corporate services functions, ensuring the organisation has the systems, governance, people and resources required to successfully deliver its strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the organisation's finance function, including budgeting, financial reporting, business planning and long-term financial sustainability
• Providing strategic advice to the CEO, Board and Executive Team on corporate governance, risk management, compliance and organisational performance
• Overseeing governance frameworks, policies and processes that support effective decision-making and accountability
• Leading the People and Culture function, including workforce planning, employee relations, wellbeing, leadership development and organisational culture initiatives
• Driving continuous improvement, innovation and organisational change to enhance effectiveness and service delivery
• Providing executive oversight of information technology, cyber security, information management and business continuity systems
• Ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory and statutory obligations across all corporate services functions
• Leading enterprise risk management, internal controls and audit processes
• Supporting the Board and Committees through the provision of high-quality governance, reporting and secretariat functions
• Developing strong partnerships with government agencies, funding bodies, community stakeholders and industry partners
• Leading, mentoring and developing a multidisciplinary corporate services team aligned with our client’s values of Care, Courage and Connection
• Contributing to organisational strategy and helping shape the future direction of our client as a member of the Executive Leadership Team

About You

• Proven executive or senior leadership experience within a complex organisation
• Strong financial management, budgeting and strategic planning expertise
• Demonstrated experience leading governance, risk management and compliance frameworks
• Experience providing high-level advice and support to CEOs, Boards and executive leadership teams
• A track record of leading organisational improvement, change management and strategic initiatives
• Experience overseeing corporate services functions including finance, people and culture, information technology, workplace health and safety, and governance
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build productive relationships across government, industry, community and organisational stakeholders
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to developing high-performing teams and positive workplace culture
• Sound understanding of contemporary organisational governance, policy and statutory obligations
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Commerce, Management or a related discipline
• CPA or CA qualifications and experience within government, public sector or similarly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
