Job summary

GWG Recruitment is seeking a Director of Corporate Services for an established organisation on the Central Coast. You will join the Executive Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO, and oversee finance, people and culture, technology, governance and risk, assets and infrastructure, marketing and communications, and business improvement.

You will partner with the CEO, Board and leadership to deliver strategic, financially sustainable outcomes.

Director of Corporate Services

An established and purpose-driven organisation based on the Central Coast is seeking an experienced Director of Corporate Services to join its Executive Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a broad and influential executive role responsible for leading and integrating the organisation’s key corporate and shared services functions. With oversight across finance, people and culture, technology, governance and risk, assets and infrastructure, marketing and communications, and business improvement, you will play a critical role in strengthening organisational capability, governance and long-term financial sustainability. Working closely with the CEO, Board and Executive Team, you will provide commercial insight, strategic advice and strong organisational leadership while ensuring corporate functions operate as effective partners to the broader organisation.

The Opportunity

As Director of Corporate Services, you will:

• Provide executive leadership across a diverse corporate and shared services portfolio.
• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow, financial controls and commercial decision-making.
• Drive workforce strategy, organisational capability, culture and people governance.
• Provide oversight of technology, cyber security, digital transformation, business systems and information governance.
• Strengthen enterprise governance, risk, policy, assurance and compliance frameworks.
• Oversee asset, maintenance, infrastructure and long-term capital planning.
• Drive business improvement, process efficiency and the continued development of integrated shared services.
• Provide high-quality strategic, financial, governance and organisational advice to the CEO, Executive Team and Board.
• Lead organisational change while developing accountable, capable and service-focused teams.
• Effectively manage external partners and professional advisers while maintaining strong organisational oversight and accountability.

About You

You will be an accomplished senior leader with significant experience leading multiple corporate or shared services functions within a complex aged care, disability or NDIS-related organisation. You may currently be a Director or General Manager of Corporate Services, Executive Director, Director of Finance or CFO whose remit has extended beyond traditional finance into broader organisational leadership. You will bring strong financial and commercial capability together with demonstrated experience across areas such as governance, risk, people and culture, technology, systems, assets and organisational improvement. Importantly, you will be comfortable operating at CEO, Executive and Board level, with the ability to translate organisational strategy into clear priorities and measurable outcomes. You will be an effective communicator and relationship builder who can bring together diverse functions, lead change and balance commercial, people and organisational priorities.

CA or CPA qualification is essential, or you will be currently working towards completion of your CA or CPA.

Experience within a complex or regulated service environment will be highly regarded, along with strong governance, risk management, financial stewardship and organisational decision-making capability.
