Job summary

Export Finance Australia seeks a General Manager, IT Operations to lead infrastructure, cloud services, cyber security and governance. You will set the strategic direction, ensure secure and resilient technology services, and partner with the Digital, Data & AI teams to drive modernization across the organisation.

You will report to executives, manage budgets, and build a high-performing team while ensuring alignment with regulatory and risk objectives.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in technology operations, IT service delivery, cyber security, information risk, applications or infrastructure.
• Experience managing technology vendors, managed service providers and delivery partners.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with the ability to translate complex tech matters for executives.
• Experience operating in a regulated government, financial services or risk-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver EFA’s Technology Operations Strategy and ensure aligned services.
• Provide advice on service performance, cyber security, resilience, risk and investments.
• Translate complex technology issues into clear business insights for the Executive.
• Oversee secure, reliable, high-performing technology services across the organisation.
• Establish service delivery frameworks and drive cost management and automation.
• Lead cyber security, information risk and operational resilience capabilities.
• Manage vendor relationships, sourcing and contract management for value.
• Drive technology modernization with the Digital, Data & AI teams.
