Job summary

Rabobank seeks an accomplished Executive Director, Corporate Banking to join our Wholesale Banking team in Australia. You will lead strategic relationships with large, complex organisations in Food and Agribusiness, and potentially Energy Transition clients, delivering tailored financial solutions.

You will own a portfolio of high-value relationships, originate new business, coordinate credit, legal and product teams, and present compelling pitches to CEOs and CFOs while upholding Rabobank's

Qualifications

• You will be a credible and influential senior banker with a strong record of building trusted relationships and delivering complex corporate financing solutions.
• Ideally, you will have a degree in finance, economics, agriculture or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in corporate and institutional banking, leveraged finance or a comparable environment.
• Demonstrated relationship-management and business-origination experience.

Responsibilities

• Developing and strengthening relationships with existing clients and prospective customers
• Leading client strategy, deal origination and transaction execution
• Identifying lending, capital structure, working capital and risk-management opportunities
• Preparing and presenting compelling client pitches and financing solutions
• Leading conversations with CEOs, CFOs, treasurers and business owners
• Coordinating credit, legal and approval processes from origination through to completion
• Bringing together product, credit and sector specialists to deliver an integrated client experience
• Connecting clients with Rabobank’s global knowledge, network and capital structuring capabilities
• Steering client service teams and developing longer-term relationship strategies
• Actively managing portfolio risk, concentration and returns
• Representing Wholesale Banking in the local market and across the broader Rabobank network
• Where applicable, coaching and leading Coverage Banking colleagues.
