Job summary
Elements of Byron is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to lead our premium dining program at our luxury beachfront resort in Byron Bay. You will guide a high-performing kitchen brigade, champion a woodfire and grill-led menu, and build strong relationships with local farmers and suppliers to ensure exceptional food quality and guest experiences.

Qualifications
- Proven leadership in premium restaurants, luxury hotels or resorts.
- Deep passion for fire, grill and ingredient-led cooking.
- Strong understanding of local, seasonal and sustainable produce.
- Creative chef with hands-on leadership and sharp commercial acumen.
- Full availability including weekends and public holidays
- Commit to a full-time 5-day week including weekends
- Experience supervising a large team
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards
- Permanent residents or unrestricted rights to work in Australia required
