Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking an experienced Chef in New South Wales (NSW) for a full-time role at a hospitality venue. The ideal candidate will take pride in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards and delivering outstanding dining experiences.

You will work with a dedicated kitchen team to ensure food quality, consistency and compliance with safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• CertificateIII in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef.
• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen operations.
• Sound understanding of foodsafety and hygienestandards.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with menus and standards.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, taste and presentation.
• Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organised and hygienic at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering.
• Comply with all foodsafety, hygiene and workplace health regulations.
• Assist with menu planning and the development of new dishes.
• Work efficiently and effectively during busy service periods.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain smooth daily operations.
