PCA Ground Engineering is hiring Excavator Operators to join crews on major piling and civil construction projects across Queensland and New South Wales. You will operate excavators, manage attachments, and assist in rig setup and site prep.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of excavator experience, a White Card, and the ability to work away on a roster. Team players who prioritize safety will thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with current and valid excavator ticket.
• Experience operating a Skid Steer.
• Proven experience operating excavators on construction or civil sites.
• White Card (Construction Induction Card) – essential.
• Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on operating excavators at the heart of piling support and civil construction works.
• Master a variety of attachments, including augers, grabs, buckets and other specialist excavator tools.
• Play a key role in piling rig setup, spoil management and site preparation.
• Work closely with rig operators and site supervisors to keep production moving smoothly.
• Take pride in your machine: complete pre-starts and keep equipment in top condition.
• Champion WHS standards on every site, every day.
• Bring a team-first attitude, pitching in on general labouring or other tasks within your skillset when needed.

Location: QLD & NSW – MUST be willing to work away from home & have broad availability

Rate

Hourly rate covers the first 8 hours, with overtime applying from there; plus allowances (Living away from home

The Role

Due to company growth and recently awarded projects, PCA Ground Engineering is looking for experienced Excavator Operators to join our crews on major piling and civil construction projects across Queensland and New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities

Get hands-on operating excavators at the heart of piling support and civil construction works

Master a variety of attachments, including augers, grabs, buckets and other specialist excavator tools

Play a key role in piling rig setup, spoil management and site preparation

Work closely with rig operators and site supervisors to keep production moving smoothly

Take pride in your machine: complete pre-starts and keep equipment in top condition

Champion WHS standards on every site, every day

Bring a team-first attitude, pitching in on general labouring or other tasks within your skillset when needed

The essentials we need you to have covered:

3 + years’ experience with current and valid excavator ticket

Experience operating a Skid Steer

Proven experience operating excavators on construction or civil sites

White Card (Construction Induction Card) – essential

Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious

Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Willing and able to work away on roster

Added Bonus:

Experience in a sheet piling, driven piles, or ground engineering environment

Dogging or rigging ticket

EWP or Working at Heights ticket

HR/MR licence

Exposure to CFA piling or concrete pump operations advantageous
