Job summary

Bingley Electrical Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to support the Canberra Light Rail Stage 2A and other electrical and minor civil projects in the Canberra/NSW region.

Ideal candidates will have proven excavator operation experience (6T-8T) with GPS, a safety-conscious mindset, and the ability to work independently or in a small team. HR licence is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators (6T-8T), with GPS preferred.
• Reliable and safety-conscious; able to work independently or in a small team.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Willingness to work across Canberra and regional NSW sites.
• HR licence preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators (6T-8T) to support site works.
• Perform electrical trenching and backfilling.
• Prepare sites and perform clean-up after works.
• Assist with minor civil works as required.
• Operate machinery in varied site conditions.
