Job summary

Hinterland Heavy Diesel Services and Plant Hire on the Sunshine Coast, QLD is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for civil and rail projects. The role involves operating a CAT 30T Excavator with Trimble GPS, performing bulk and detailed earthworks, trenching, battering and trimming, loading trucks, and moving material while maintaining safety at all times.

The successful candidate will have strong civil earthworks knowledge, be competent with Trimble GPS, hold an Excavator RII, White Card

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of civil earthworks and site plans.
• Competent with Trimble GPS.
• Current Excavator RII competency.
• White Card.
• Current driver's licence.
• Reliable, safety-focused and able to work as part of a crew.
• RIW competencies are advantageous, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Excavation, trenching, battering and trimming.
• Loading trucks and moving material.
• Working around services and other plant.
• Completing daily pre-starts and basic plant checks.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work area.
• Bulks and detailed earthworks as required.

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for civil and rail projects on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.

Operating CAT 30T Excavator

Using Trimble GPS

Bulk and detailed earthworks

Excavation, trenching, battering and trimming

Loading trucks and moving material

Working around services and other plant

Completing daily pre-starts and basic plant checks

Maintaining a safe and tidy work area

About you

Strong understanding of civil earthworks and site plans
