Job summary

Bingley Electrical Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to support the Canberra Light Rail Stage 2A and other electrical and minor civil projects in the Canberra/NSW region.

Ideal candidates will have proven excavator operation experience (6T-8T) with GPS, a safety-conscious mindset, and the ability to work independently or in a small team. HR licence is preferred but not essential.

• Reliable and safety-conscious; able to work independently or in a small team.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Willingness to work across Canberra and regional NSW sites.

• Operate excavators (6T-8T) to support site works.
• Perform electrical trenching and backfilling.
• Prepare sites and perform clean-up after works.
• Assist with minor civil works as required.
• Operate machinery in varied site conditions.

We’re a small electrical company based in the Canberra/NSW region, looking to welcome an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team.

The current works package will be at the Canberra Light Rail Stage 2A, with further works continuing after completion to support a variety of electrical and minor civil works projects.

Tasks will include:

• You'll be responsible for operating excavators (6T-8T) to support
• Electrical trenching and backfilling
• Site preparation and clean up
• Minor civil works
• Operating machinery in varied site conditions

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience operating excavators (6T-8T) with GPS Experience.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a small team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Flexibility to work across various sites around Canberra and regional NSW
• HR licence preferred, but not essential.
