Qualifications

• Previous civil construction/mining/earthworks experience in heavy industry environments.
• Experience operating 30T–90T excavators; 50T+ highly regarded.
• Multi-skilled with excavators, loaders and Moxy trucks is advantageous.
• GPS excavator experience is highly regarded; long-reach capability is a plus.

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Excavator Operators for an upcoming dredging project.

These positions will suit reliable, hardworking candidates with relevant civil construction, mining, earthworks or heavy equipment experience who are comfortable working in a hands-on project environment.

Excavator Operators must have experience operating excavators ranging from 30T to 90T, with experience operating 50T+ equipment highly regarded. Multi-skilled operators with experience operating excavators, loaders and Moxy trucks are encouraged to apply. Experience operating GPS-guided and long-reach excavators will be highly regarded.

• Assist with dredging operations, earthworks and general project activities
• Operate HC trucks and assist with labouring duties as required
• Operate excavators ranging from 30T to 90T, depending on the position
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures
• Assist with loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment
• Follow GPS guidance, survey information and site instructions where required
• Undertake additional labouring or multi-skilled duties when required
• Complete pre-start inspections and report equipment faults or safety concerns

• Reliable, flexible and able to work effectively within a team
