Job summary

WorkPac is seeking an experienced excavator operator for a 7/7 FIFO role, operating a 600T excavator across mine services and dewatering tasks. The job involves coordinating with site supervisors to ensure safety and efficient production on site.

This position requires proven 600T excavator experience, valid Standard 11, and Coal Board Medical, with current Australian working rights. FIFO from Brisbane or Cairns and a DSNS roster offer stable, ongoing work in a leading mining operation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mine services and production support activities.
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 600T excavator within the Mine Services and Pumps Department.
• Support pit dewatering and mine services activities.
• Conduct bulk excavation and earthmoving tasks.
• Complete pre-start inspections and equipment checks.
• Work closely with site supervisors and mine services crews.
