Job summary

Pryor Plant Hire is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for an immediate start in a permanent, full-time role across the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie and Newcastle regions. You will operate 5.5T, 7.5T and 13.5T excavators on subdivision and civil construction projects and contribute to high-standard workmanship.

The ideal candidate is confident working independently, values machinery, and demonstrates a strong safety and quality mindset with relevant licenses and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' excavator operating experience in subdivision works.
• Current General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Current C Class driver's licence.
• Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Operate 5.5T, 7.5T and 13.5T excavators on subdivision and civil construction projects.
• Perform detail excavation and final trim.
• Conduct roadworks and footpaths, trenching and pipework.
• Utilise excavator attachments and manage bulk earthworks.

EXPERIENCED EXCAVATOR OPERATOR – IMMEDIATE START

Permanent Full-Time Position | Central Coast / Lake Macquarie / Newcastle

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for an immediate start in a permanent, full-time position.

The successful applicant will operate 5.5T, 7.5T and 13.5T excavators on subdivision and civil construction projects throughout the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie and Newcastle regions.

This position would suit an experienced operator who is confident working independently, takes pride in their work and machinery, and can consistently produce a high standard of work.

• Nationally accredited Statement of Attainment – RIIMPO320F Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations
• Minimum 3 years' excavator operating experience in subdivision works
• Demonstrated experience and confidence in:
  • Detail excavation and final trim
  • Roadworks and footpaths
  • Trenching and pipework
  • Excavator attachment use
  • Bulk earthworks
• Currently live in the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie or Newcastle regions
• Current General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Current C Class driver's licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening
• Australian working rights

• Statement of Attainment – Work Safely in the Vicinity of Live Electrical Apparatus as a Non-Electrical Worker
• GPS machine control experience
