Job summary

Techforce JobAdder seeks experienced Digger Operators for a permanent role in a leading coal mining operation in Queensland. The position offers a 7/7 roster, DIDO or BIBO from Mackay or Townsville, and salary sacrifice flights from Brisbane.

You will join a high-performing production team in a well-established mining environment. Responsibilities include operating diggers and ancillary mobile plant, supporting load and haul operations, and adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years production mining experience required.
• Experience operating excavators and dozers in production mining.
• Valid Standard 11 (S11).
• Valid Coal Board Medical.
• Training transcripts required.
• NPC (within 6 months).
• Strong safety focus and ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be available for rostered FIFO/DIDO work.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of production mining equipment including diggers and ancillary mobile plant.
• Support load and haul operations to meet production targets safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-start inspections, hazard identification, and routine equipment checks.
• Follow all site safety systems, procedures, and operational requirements.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew to maintain safe and productive operations.
