Job summary

Minecon Recruitment Pty in Clermont, QLD, is seeking experienced Mining Machine Operators to join a major open-cut coal mine. You will operate a modern fleet, including dump trucks, dozers and excavators, on a 7:7 roster with 12-hour shifts and camp facilities.

This permanent role offers long-term stability, competitive earnings with entitlements, and opportunities to develop skills while working with a safety-focused team in a large-scale production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy mining equipment in open-cut mines.

We’re recruiting experienced Dump Truck, Dozer, Excavator and Multi-Skilled Operators to join high-performing crews at a major open-cut coal mine near Clermont in Queensland’s Bowen Basin.

Multi-Skilled Operators: CAT 777D/F Water Carts, CAT 16H and 18 Graders, CAT D10/D11 Dozers and CAT 789 Dump Trucks

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for experienced, safety-conscious operators who can contribute to a productive, professional and safety-focused team.

Dozer Operators: Demonstrated experience operating CAT D10 and D11 dozers.

Excavator Operators: Demonstrated experience operating Hitachi EX3600 and/or Liebherr R9400 excavators.

Multi-Skilled Operators: Proven operating experience across graders, dump trucks and water carts.

Dump Truck Operators: Demonstrated experience on large production trucks, ideally CAT 789 and/or CAT 777.

Mandatory Requirements

Current Standard 11 induction.

Current Coal Board Medical.

Valid Queensland C-class driver's licence or equivalent.

Relevant RII statements of attainment or a signed-off site skills matrix for the equipment you operate.

Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol assessment.

A strong commitment to safety, operational performance and working effectively within a team.
