Job summary

Sunshine Coast Council is seeking an Events & Operations Officer to support planning, coordination, and day-to-day operation of Caloundra Indoor Stadium and related venues. You will work with event organisers, clubs and community groups to deliver successful events with outstanding customer service.

The role combines event coordination, venue administration and operational support, offering meaningful community impact and a pathway to contribute to the region’s future in line with the Brisbane

Qualifications

• You understand sport, events and community venues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event planning activities, operational schedules and venue logistics for a diverse range of sporting and community events.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with sporting clubs, community groups, customers and key stakeholders.
• Manage venue administration including bookings, hire agreements, invoicing, attendance reporting and customer enquiries.
• Support day-to-day venue operations, act as Duty Manager when required and help ensure facilities are presented to a high standard.
