Job summary

Sunshine Coast Council in Queensland is seeking an Events & Operations Officer to manage planning, coordination and day‑to‑day operation of Sunshine Coast Stadium and related venues. You will work with event organisers, clubs and community groups to deliver successful events with excellent customer service.

We require strong organisation, the ability to manage competing priorities, and comfort with venue management systems. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• You understand sport, events and community venues.
• Qualifications or experience in business administration, sport management, event coordination or venue operations.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organised and proactive with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event planning activities, operational schedules and venue logistics for a diverse range of sporting and community events.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with sporting clubs, community groups, customers and key stakeholders.
• Manage venue administration including bookings, hire agreements, invoicing, attendance reporting and customer enquiries.
• Support day-to-day venue operations, act as Duty Manager when required and help ensure facilities are presented to a high standard.
