Job summary

Sunshine Coast Stadium is managed by the Sunshine Coast Council and seeks an Events & Operations Officer to support planning, coordination and daily operation of Sunshine Coast Stadium and related venues.

You will work with event organisers, sporting clubs and community groups to deliver successful events with exceptional customer service. A varied, hands-on role combines event coordination, venue administration and operational support, enabling you to impact our regional community.

Qualifications

• Qualifications or experience in business administration, sport management, event coordination or venue operations.
• Experience or understanding of sport and community venues is desirable.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event planning activities, operational schedules and venue logistics for diverse sporting and community events.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with sporting clubs, community groups, customers and key stakeholders.
• Manage venue administration including bookings, hire agreements, invoicing, attendance reporting and customer enquiries.
• Support day-to-day venue operations, act as Duty Manager when required and help ensure facilities are presented to a high standard.
