Mercure Perth is seeking a part-time Conference & Event Supervisor to lead our events team and deliver exceptional service for corporate and private functions. You will supervise banquet, conference and room setups, coordinate with sales and kitchen, manage inventory and costs, and ensure adherence to food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Service-focused personality and passion for everything food and beverage.
• Previous leadership experience is preferred.
• RSA certification is required; Approved Manager Card is desired.

Responsabilités

• Supervise banquet, conference and meeting room events per guest orders.
• Coordinate with Sales for seamless handovers and flawless execution.
• Oversee daily operations, maintaining high service standards.
• Lead and develop events staff to achieve operational excellence.
• Collaborate with kitchen to ensure menu quality and timely delivery.
• Manage inventory and costs while upholding product quality.
• Handle guest inquiries and special requests promptly.
• Assist in creating innovative conference packages and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and policies.
• Monitor sales data and event performance to spot trends.
• Conduct staff training to improve skills and execution.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment across spaces.
• Collaborate with other departments for integrated events.
• Stay updated on industry trends and refresh packages.
